Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She is an actor from Romania and Germany. Her most well-known movies include Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Since she was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu. Alexandra began her professional career in showbiz as a child. Her roles included lead characters in television dramas as early at the age of 16. After her critically acclaimed role in the television film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went on to play other noteworthy parts, including Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, in Downfall. The film won an Oscar and was a critical as well as commercial success. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films featuring the beautiful diva. Alexandra has been involved in numerous important international and national projects over the years. These comprise British biographical films like Control and The Dust of Time as well as French historic miniseries Napoleon. In addition, she is juror at each of The Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
